Day 241

May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun
And find your shoulder to light on,
To bring you luck, happiness and riches
Today, tomorrow and beyond.

Day 235

I find myself watching you and watching the clock today.  As the hours pass by you draw closer to your birthday and I can't help thinking... it cannot be.  You were just this little, too small for newborn clothes.  You were just this tiny baby who slept in my arms all day and awoke cooing.  Now you awake with adventure on your mind and a smile on your face.  Now you are an amazing, beautiful, full of spirit little girl and only eight hours from three.  Yes, I am counting.

Day 234 A Very Merry Un-Birthday

Well, it's not quite her birthday, that's in a couple of days, but her grandparents visited today and brought birthday presents with them, her very favorite elvish toys.  She is one happy, nearly three, faerie princess!  Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

Day 231 Heaven

There is just something magical about a child playing in the setting sun of summer, shining, with golden light in the hair and a sweet smile on the face that makes me embrace each second and believe that heaven can be found on earth.

Day 214 Redwork

A party day.  Why?  Because we can, because it's summer, because kids like cake and mom likes photos, because it's fun, and because today only comes around once in a lifetime.
