Day 32 Happy February

Day 31 Sunshine

...my Lil' Miss, messy hair and hoody.  I wanted to take photos in all the gorgeous sun today.  I packed the camera, we hopped in the car, and 2 seconds into the drive... massive cloud cover.  Everything looked just as grey and miserable as it had the day before.  Sure, it was warm but warm without sun doesn't translate well in photos.  Then I saw her and she smiled and said to me, "It's a good thing this girl has a hood on a day like today, you never know if I'll need it."  She smiled her proud smile because she knew she was so clever and I clicked.  I found my Sunshine through the grey.

Day 30

Look at all that snow... Do you want to know what is nice about posting a day late?  I know, while looking at this snowy, grey day photo that today is sunny and over 50 degrees Fahrenheit!  All that snow that had me so miserable yesterday is almost entirely melted.  I am picturing this bucket full of flowers in the spring :)

Day 29 my point of view

...over 2 new inches of snow now and coming down hard.  It's... pretty.  I could like it a whole bunch more if my kids could get a snow day from school tomorrow and stay home with me.  Hmmm... maybe I'll have to declare my own snow day :)

Day 28 Really?

More snow...  I know it's still winter and January and whatever... I miss spring.  Yesterday, (this day here) we got another inch of snow.  Yes, it's pretty... sigh... I want to like it, really I do, but I miss being out on the boat and spring fever has a firm hold over me now.
