Lately, I've been in love with the color purple. Every time I see a flash of it I have to stop and take a photo. It's probably because of lavender, I'm obsessed with it right now and try as I might I cannot get it to grow. I've planted some of it in all of my gardens, good healthy plants, only to watch them die. I've started it from seed, it died too. I've been told it grows like a weed, maybe like this weed, just not for me. Sigh... I want my walkway lined with lavender. I want to dry it and hang it in my house. I want to make tiny embroidered pillows and fill them with lavender. I suppose I'll have to try again. Until then, I have this lovely purple weed.
