Lil' Miss' Gingerbread House

She is very proud of her little house that we made together at school but also very upset
when I told her there was no way I would let her eat it. So, we made another one, from a kit,
that she could eat. I think her first one is cuter.

I had believed, hoped, that the kit would spare me the labor intensive baking and building
of a homemade gingerbread house. Well, a certain Lil' Miss now thinks that we should
build one from scratch. We seem to have gone from a gingerbread house to a village. I
have heard it takes a village to raise a child but I never knew that a child could
raise a village.

LOL- Gotta love a gingerbread village. Did you ever try the ones made from graham crackers? xo Diana
